Compton Traditional Bowhunters Rendezvous

Compton Traditional Bowhunters
Rendezvous

Each year during our Rendezvous we have an auction. We rely on donations from our members to make the auction happen. The proceeds from the auction are important to our organization and help us to continue our efforts to promote traditional archery and to work with kids getting them involved. This is where we'll add a listing of donated items so you can see what you might want to bid on and also as a place to showcase the generosity of our members. To all of you who are planning to donate, thank you. It is best to let us know as soon as you can what you're donating and if you can email us pictures that's even better. Keep checking back to see how this section grows. Plan to donate an item or two as well. We appreciate your support!

Friday morning we had quite a surprise. Thursday night's thunderstorms had their way with our vendor tent and our Compton tents. Everyone pitched right in though and started to re-build. After all... The show had to go on!

After we got all the displays and equipment out from under the tent, we laid it flat and...

Our Compton board had to decide what to do next. It was a mess...

None of the canvas tents in the primitive camp sustained any damage. Chalk one up for canvas!

Once we got things back together, you could hardly tell we had any trouble at all.
The food court was as busy as ever...

...the vendor tent was resurrected and business was back to normal. Finally!

Friday night, our chili feed was quite popular and the chili excellent by the way. Many thanks to the spice-masters.

The hot dogs were cooked and served by the board members as was the chili.

Tons of folks shot the courses, and a good time was had by all.

Our Traditional Bowhunting Archives book is now available!
It turned out great and belongs on every bowhunters' bookshelf. Be sure to pick up a copy for yourself and maybe as a gift to a fellow bowhunter. Here's an idea! Why not donate one to a local school or library?
